Chair Yoga
Chair-based yoga offers the same elements and benefits as traditional yoga, including physical poses (asanas), meditation (dyana), and breathing techniques (pranayama). A gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a sturdy chair. It is useful for those who find typical yoga session too challenging, for those with balance issues / anyone who has trouble getting up and down from the floor. All the standard yoga poses can be modified to suit chair yoga, such as Chair forward fold, Chair cat-cow, Chair twist, Chair pigeon, Chair downward dog and etc.
