Via the newly introduced Learning Lab series, we aim to curate a unique offering of special classes designed to enhance and elevate your yoga journey – whether you are a beginner looking to try new poses not commonly offered in regular classes or an experienced yogi looking to push your limits – we have got it covered.
As the name suggests, this series aims to encourage continual learning. One’s yoga practice is an ongoing journey of growth, exploration, and knowledge. By being committed to continuing education, one can experience ever-evolving progress.
We are also always on the lookout for fresh and relevant yoga concepts that we can help incorporate into your practice to aid you in accessing a more varied and in-depth learning experience.

New Class! Rest & Restore – Beginner
Resting can be easier said than done, with all the stress and concerns that run through our mind every moment. Under the guidance of our instructor, practise a combination of Yin yoga postures and relaxation techniques with a carefully curated 25-minute Non-Sleep Deep Rest meditation protocol that allows one to go into a deep state of rest with awareness.
This is an empowering practice that helps us to re-connect the mind and body to rest and restore energy. Regain control to focus better with each practice and be prepared to get addicted to the sense of calmness as we breathe and let go of tensions in the body.
Align & Refine – Beginner
This class focuses on poses, with alignment principles of Iyengar yoga, with the intention to create safe yoga poses that are meant for your body type and ability levels. Precise instructions and demonstration are the key tenants of this class. Props such as straps and blocks are used to ensure that students are able to do the poses comfortably and with precision. All these help to minimise injury risks.
For the experienced student, this class serves to refresh and refine the essential techniques of doing a pose.
- Intensity: Gentle to medium
- Suitable for: If you are nursing injuries; those who want a refresher class; brush up on basic poses; refine your poses
- Experience level: Beginner, experienced students
- *Not suitable if you are very new to yoga.

Arm Balances – Intermediate/Advanced
A class to learn more about arm balance poses. This class comprises of traditional Hatha poses, combined with basic arm balance poses and techniques using props (blocks, straps, wall) to help find that sweet balance.
Experience, feel and understand what arm balances are and how to do them safely, without pain.
Arm balances strengthen the arms and core, as well as increase mobility in the spinal column and awareness of the body.
- Intensity: Medium to challenging
- Suitable for: Those who work out regularly; general public
- Experience level: Experienced Beginner, intermediate, advanced.
- Recommended to have at least 6 months of yoga practice.
- *Not suitable if you are new to yoga.
*Students should be familiar with the basic yoga such as Downward Facing Dog, Warrior 1, Warrior 2, etc.
Backbends – Intermediate/Advanced
A class to learn more about back-bending category of poses. This class comprises traditional Hatha poses, followed by basic back-bending poses using props (blocks, straps, wall) to create space in the chest and shoulders.
Experience, feel and understand what backbends are and how to do them safely, without pain.
Backbends stimulate the central nervous system, boost immune system, realign and increase mobility in the spinal column.
- Intensity: Medium
- Suitable for: Those who work out regularly; bad posture; general public
- Experience level: Beginner, intermediate, advanced.
Recommended to have at least 3 months of yoga practice. *Not suitable if you are new to yoga.
*Students should be familiar with the basic yoga such as Downward Facing Dog, Warrior 1, Warrior 2, etc.
Backcare – Beginner
This class will help strengthen your back and core muscles with yoga poses and stability exercises. Learn how to support your spine with back strengthening exercise and stretches. With many of us sitting the whole day at work, we need proper maintenance. This class is here to help you with any problems, aches, or pains you may be having in your back, and find relief.
- Intensity: Gentle
- Suitable for: Those who work out regularly; general public; suffer from frequent backaches and pains; chronic long held back tension; want to strengthen their backs
- Experience level: All levels. Beginner friendly
- Good class to learn how to take care of your back
Inversions – Advanced
A class to learn more about upsides down poses. Build the confidence to go upside-down safely through techniques and drills designed to strengthen and stabilise your muscles. This class covers poses like headstand, forearm stand (pincha) and handstand. This class comprises of traditional Hatha poses, combined with basic inversion poses and techniques using props (blocks, straps, wall) to help do these poses with more ease.
Experience, feel and understand what inversions are and how to do them safely, without pain.
Inversions are very calming to the body and nervous system and they also engage the core.

- Suitable for: Those who work out regularly; general public
- Experience level: Experienced Beginner, intermediate, advanced.

Yogalates – Intermediate
Yogalates is a beautiful fusion and the perfect harmony of Yoga and Pilates. It combines the best of both worlds – the wide-ranging beneficial yoga asanas and mindfulness with the core-building strength and postural awareness of Pilates.
This practice will challenge your body and mind as it helps you to strengthen and lengthen muscles, improve your coordination, and achieve more overall mobility. Through creative sequencing and thoughtful instruction, this class is designed to leave you feeling calm, connected, and empowered.
- Intensity: Gentle to medium
- Suitable for: Those who work out regularly; general public
- Experience level: Intermediate

Body Opening
This class is designed for individuals of all levels seeking to explore ways to aid them in gaining access to deeper yoga poses and unlock tight spaces in their bodies.
In this class, we will focus on a series of poses designed to facilitate openness in the hips, heart, and back – areas that often hold onto tension and stress. Poses may be harmonized together to create a seamless body opening sequence that can help you in releasing physical blockages, strengthening your balance, and connecting with your body on a deeper level.
By creating a safe and supportive environment, we will guide you through each body opening pose, providing modifications as needed, for you to fully experience the benefits of each movement. A consistent practice of body opening poses leads to better blood circulation and reduces stiffness in most joint regions of the body.

Flexi Yoga
Flexibility is the ability of a joint or series of joints to move through an unrestricted, pain free range of motion. In this Learning Lab class, it is aimed at aiding you in experiencing both gracefulness and strength in your yoga practice. You will also learn the tools and technical knowledge necessary to help you develop a deeper understanding of your own physical abilities and limitations.
We will start each class with warm-up exercises that will help prepare our bodies for the gentle-to-high intensity stretches that we will be doing, before moving on to poses designed to target different areas of the body that often get stiff or tight – helping to increase mobility and functional length of muscles.
This class offers a variety of flexibility-based exercises (beginners to intermediate), including static and dynamic stretching, as well as various core-building poses to complement the overall practice.
The area of focus may differ from class to class.
